Privacy and protection of the personal information Policy

With this Privacy and protection of the personal information Policy, GD Granit AD Skopje, with its head office at str. Dimitrije Cupovski no. 8, 1000 Skopje, Republic of North Macedonia, regulates the manner in which it collects, processes, uses, maintains and discloses personal data that it collects from the visitors  of the website of the Company. It is designed solely and exclusively for private data collected and processed through the website of the Company and does not apply to the collection and processing of the personal data collected in other ways.

GD Granit AD Skopje pays serious attention to personal data protection in all business processes, implementing the legal provisions as regulated by the Law on Personal Data Protection (“Official Gazette of the Republic of Macedonia” No. 42/20), as well as bylaws, but also European practices regarding the protection of personal data.

I.   PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT THROUGH THE COMPANY WEBSITE

GD Granit AD Skopje does not collect or process data during the visit to the Company’s website, with exception of the data which due to the nature of the Internet, are collected for user records, but as such are not sufficient to identify a person and are statistics indicators used to improve the quality of the website.
Such information are: number of visits, average time spent on the web site, browser, technical data on the visitor connection, operating system, etc.

The company only collects personal data when visitors use the contact section through the website (contact form).

In this case, the Company processes only and exclusively the personal data that the visitor voluntarily provides , in order to obtain the information he requests.

This personal information may include:
– Name and surname
– E-mail
and they will be used in accordance with  the Privacy Policy and exclusively for the purpose for which they were left by the visitors.

II.   PURPOSES, PROCESSING AND USE OF DATA

The personal data that GD Granit AD Skopje collects and processes from the visitors of the Company’s website are for the purpose of fulfilling the following purposes:

  • Processing of the contact request sent by the visitors;
  • Managing and optimizing customer relationships;
  • Analyzing and optimizing the website.

The processing of personal data listed above in this document is justified by:

  • Processing of the visitor’s request due to his interest (obtaining information, offer, etc.);
  • The legitimate interest of GD Granit AD Skopje to enable easier use of the website, in order to satisfy its customers.

Visitors give their consent for the collection and processing of personal data by pressing the SEND button, when filling out the contact form on the website of the Company.

GD Granit AD Skopje undertakes that the collected data will be processed only in accordance with the purpose for which they were given by the visitors and during the processing will respect the positive law of the Republic of North Macedonia which refers to this matter.

III.   SECURITY AND STORAGE OF PERSONAL DATA

 

Data protection is integrated into the design itself, and privacy settings are set to a high standard. All communication between users and the site takes place through a secure encrypted protocol (https).

The processing of personal data is performed in accordance with the regulations for personal data protection of the Republic of North Macedonia, taking all prescribed technical and organizational measures to ensure confidentiality and protection in the processing of personal data.

The employees of Granit AD Skopje are obliged to keep secret all information (including personal data) that has become available during the performance of their regular duties.

The Company applies security measures in the collection, storage and processing of personal data, in order to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction of personal data, as well as data in general. Personal data can be disclosed only to the competent authorities in a procedure established by the law.

The data submitted by the visitors to the website of the Company are stored for a certain period of time, i.e. until the purpose for which they were submitted is fulfilled. During that period, all visitors reserve the right to access, correct, delete, restrict processing, object and right not to be subject to an automated decision making, including profiling.

IV.   INTERNET COOKIES

“Cookies” are small text files that are saved on your device (computer, laptop, mobile phone, tablet) to monitor the movement of your browser by the website and do not relate to your personal data that you submitted. With the help of these files to track the movement of visitors and thus collect data to improve the user experience and in order to optimize and enhance the functionality of the website.

The website has a type of “Cookies” that are stored on the user’s computer for as long as it is set in the browser. Users can choose to set their web browsers to reject cookies.

V.   FREEDOM OF SELECTION, CONSENT AND RIGHTS OF THE VISITORS

 

Each visitor, by filling in the contact form on the website of the Company and by ticking the box for that purpose declares that he agrees with this Privacy Policy and that he agrees to be contacted on the provided contact information.

According to the Law on Personal Data Protection, all visitors have the right to request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing and copy of personal data at any time.

Visitors may withdraw their consent to the processing of personal data at any time.

Changes in the Privacy Policy

GD Granit AD Skopje reserves the right to change the Privacy Policy. In that case, all changes will be posted on the Company’s website.
